How much does a restaurant website cost in 2026
One-off fees, monthly fees and costs people usually forget about. A short guide for restaurants and cafés.
The short answer
A restaurant website has two cost components: a one-off fee for its creation and a monthly fee for hosting and maintenance. A ready-made, well-designed website with a menu, opening hours and bookings usually costs a few hundred euros and 10–20 € a month. A bespoke agency project with many pages and special features can cost several thousand.
More important than the price is what you get for it – and how much every change will cost afterwards.
What determines the price
- Design. A ready-made template with different colours is inexpensive, but every restaurant looks the same. A design created around your cuisine and interior takes more work.
- Menu. Whether it is in text (so Google can read it), how many dishes and categories it includes, whether allergens are listed and whether several languages are available.
- Photography. Your existing photographs, a professional photo shoot or food photography prepared by the developer.
- Features. Table bookings, takeaway ordering, a news section, several locations with different opening hours.
- Management panel. Whether you will be able to change prices and dishes yourself, or need to write to a developer every time.
Monthly costs
Even a simple website has ongoing costs:
- Domain (for example, jusurestorans.lv) – usually a few dozen euros per year.
- Hosting and security – server, SSL certificate, updates.
- Support and changes – a new menu, seasonal prices, holiday opening hours.
- Booking system, if you use a separate service. For example, Tablein costs from 67 € a month, while Resos costs from 0 to 63 € a month depending on the number of bookings (website prices in October 2026). Comparison here.
Costs people usually forget about
- Fee for every change. If the menu is a PDF file or the website can only be changed by a developer, every new price costs time and money. That is why online prices often remain outdated.
- Fee per guest. Some booking platforms charge for every guest who comes through them.
- A slow website. If a website takes several seconds to load on a phone, some guests will close it before seeing the menu.
What to check before ordering
- Will the menu be in text, rather than a PDF file or image? Why this matters.
- Will you be able to change prices and dishes yourself, including from your phone?
- How fast will the website be? Ask to see the Google PageSpeed result on a phone – a good website scores 90–100.
- Will the domain be registered in your name?
- What is included in the monthly fee, and what happens if you stop paying it?
- Can you see the finished website before you pay?

Frequently asked questions
How much does a simple restaurant website cost?
A ready-made website with a text-based menu, opening hours, map and contact details usually costs a few hundred euros. With us, it starts from 399 €, with maintenance from 10 € a month.
Can I manage without a monthly fee?
A domain and hosting always cost money, even if you pay for them yourself. The monthly fee usually includes hosting, security and small changes, so the website does not become outdated.
Do I need to buy a booking system separately?
Not necessarily. Popular booking systems cost around 23–177 € a month, but bookings can also be built directly into the website with no fee per guest.
